International energy conference was held in Saudi Arabia Jedda. Chinese vice president Xi Jinping while visiting Saudi Arabia was invited to lead the delegation to attend the meeting and delivered an address, which expounded comprehensively the view of Chinese government on the nowadays international energy issues ,Chinese energy policy and protestation about the energy cooperation.

Xi Jinping stated in the address the international oil priaqce was soaring significantly for a period of time and the some newly uncertain factors of the world economy became the sever challenges to the oproduction countries and consumption countries. 

Xi Jinping pointed out that energy issue was the global issue. Promoting the balance between supply and demand of the world energy and maintaining the world energy safety was the instant task encountered by the countries all over the world. 

Xi Jinping expressed that China is not only the energy consumption country but also the energy production country. The primary energy produced is supplied domestically. Recent years, with the rapid development, Chinese energy consumption has developed rapidly, yet the total level is still low.

Xi Jinping emphasized China was the active participant responsible for the international energy cooperation, and strived for contribution of promoting the sustainable development of world energy and maintaining the world energy safety. Xi also believed only the joint efforts of all the countries could advance the sustainable development of the world energy.
